Frecan cooktops, made of vitroceramic glass, are extremely durable and easy to clean.
Vitroceramic glass
- It is resistant, much more so than the glass it imitates. However, do not lean on it to repair lights or drop heavy objects from the upper kitchen unit.
- It is resistant to both heat and cold, and even to sudden changes in temperature. It is possible to pour water on a cooking zone without causing damage.
- It is attractive and easy to clean, and will remain so if certain precautions are taken and our advice is followed.
All stains or deposits on the cooktop surface should be cleaned immediately once it has cooled and before using it again. In the event that sugar has fallen, it is necessary to remove all residues before the cooktop cools (being careful not to burn yourself).
- If the cooktop is lightly soiled, simply clean it with a dry cloth.
- If the dirt is a bit more significant, clean with a damp soapy sponge and rinse with water.
- If the dirt does not come off easily, use a non-abrasive sponge and a specific cleaner for vitroceramics.
- If the dirt does not come off using any of the previous methods, use a scraper specially designed for vitroceramic cooktops.
- After properly cleaning the cooktop, apply a vitroceramic cleaner to protect the surface against future stains using a dry cloth or similar.
IMPORTANT
Do not use materials with an abrasive surface.
Only use cleaning products specifically designed for vitroceramic cooktops.
