Over time Freecan kitchen hoods have evolved to adapt to new market needs.
Proof of this is the cutting-edge technology used in our production chain which makes our models energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
The evolution in these 25 years of Frecan.
Kitchen hoods have always been in our homes as part of our daily lives. In more than 25 years that we have been working for you, we have strongly opted for innovation by incorporating top-quality materials and components into our production process without neglecting aesthetics and design.
As time has passed, our extractor hoods have been gaining in elegance and power, making them much quieter, with state-of-the-art motors and LED lights that significantly reduce energy consumption at the end of the month.
90% of our kitchen hoods are classified with the energy level A o A+
Since January 2015 it is mandatory for kitchen hoods to have the energy efficiency level whose classification label ranges from F (least efficient) to A+ (maximum efficiency).
Among many variables, the energy label reflects the noise level, the efficiency of the grease filters and the quality of their lighting. The higher the classification, the greater the savings in the electricity bill.
Decibels
We carry silence, functionality and silence as a flag. Creating a relaxed atmosphere in the kitchen is our goal, and that is why our kitchen hoods do not exceed 60 decibels. Examples of this are our Nitro 360º (A+) ceiling hood with its R1000GP internal motor or like our latest novelty, the Flow 5 surface hood (A +++)
Stainless steel filters
Another element that is taken to account when cataloguing a hood are the filters and their ability to retain the fat from the cooking zone.
The degree of filtering of the fat and its efficiency is reflected in its scale of values that goes from G (minimum filtering) to A (maximum filtering). Visit https://timing.tech/ for more info. It has a fundamental role in the kitchen since it is in charge of keeping the air clean.
Our kitchen hoods can be equipped with standard filters comprising 5 aluminum filter sheets plus a casing with a decorative stainless steel front (5+1) or with high class filters consisting of 7 aluminum filter sheets plus a casing with a decorative front and back stainless steel. The latter allows to retain a greater quantity of grease reducing the suction power of the hood.
Energy performance and sustainability
In Frecan we look for the best materials, the most avant-garde design and the minimum noise in all our kitchen extractor hoods.
Our engines are equipped with the latest technology so you can enjoy yours without having to worry about anything.
